Made my second ever trip to the track with a little better results than last time. It was about 85 with 50% humidity today. Launched at about 2k. I'm only posting one slip and one vid, because my other 2 runs were shit... Also, judging by my reaction time, someone must have slipped me some sort of tranquilizer before I made the run. I need more practice...

Can someone link me to a good 1/8th to 1/4mile ET and MPH calculator. I don't have any 1/4 mile tracks near me, and am curious what it might be...

Good numbers...

Calcs suck. Experiance says you could be anywhere between 12.4 and 11.8 depending on boost, weight, gears, tire size and your skills as a driver.

A good rule of thumb is multiply the 1/8 by 1.55 to get the 1/4. So you're looking at 12.3x. HERE is a little conversion spreadsheet I put together a while back.

Thanks fellas..... Dammit I wish the closest 1/4 wasn't 2 hrs away from me...

Getting better, your trap speed is 1mph higher than mine was with the 3.4 pulley.

The closest track for me is just under 2 hours away

Thanks man. Sucks to live in BFE... I'm in the same boat as you, St. Louis is the closest 1/4 to me which is about 2 hrs also.

Hopin' to get some better times with better weather and more seat time...

Hell... I live in SoCal, and it's 100 miles to the closest 1/4-mi track for me, too. :mad2:

What coolant temps do you guys shoot for?

Also, any advice on how to stop spending money on these cars would be appreciated... Good thing I'm a bachelor.

Get married and have a few kids. That will slow you down for a minute.
