over the winter i will have enough money to do one "major" upgrade. here are the three things i have in mind. let me know what you guys think.

1. Racing seats. I think these cars handle well enough to justify new seats. the stock seats are very comfortable but have 0 lateral support. Plus it will remove 20-30lbs.

cost= roughly $800 but i can sell my stock seats to make up for some of it.

2. Driveshaft. I wanna get rid of that "clunk" that comes with a 2 piece ds and it will remove about 25-30 lbs.

cost=$600

3. FRPP 3v Intake. still undecided on this one. numbers are conflicting in some cases and there still isnt enough dyno numbers/track times. 10-15whp???

cost=$550

vote now!

I'd do the seats. DS could run into more money due to pinion angle, etc. I feel the FRPP intake entry level is cams or it's not going to help that much.

Also, what are you going to use the car for? Road racing, drag racing, street? What mods do you already have done? Alot of mods work well to compliment other mods that have been already done.

I'd say the seats first. Not a big fan of racing seats but if you're into it than you'd probably be able to get most of your money back from sellng the stockers (if theyre leather) and almost ready to move on to another mod.

i should have been more clear. i have full bolt ons/nsr cams and make 330/314. i dont really road race although id like to. but i drive quite aggerssively on the streets and the stock seats suck even for that. and yes the stockers are leather and they even have a red ony embroidered on the top with red perforation on it (done by the previous owner).

and stkjck, its a major upgrade for me.

Mine still clunks after the axle-exchange went in. Didn't help me there.

I would install gears if you dont have them and a Nitrous kit! Driveline made no difference in my car and the seats are perfect for the street and the intake needs heads and a lot more cam to shine!

i could see getting a 1.6 but not worth the extra money on tires. id rather just have all the haters hate cause they dont believe my street tired short times.

Going from a 1.8-1.6 60' could mean .5-.6 secs off your 1/4 mile times, seems worth the $400
