My tail bushing is leaking on my 3650. I have a noise sound bearing noise when driving. It may just be my gears. I haven't gotten them set up correctly but I swear it coming from right below the shift. When I take drive shaft off. I turn the transmission by hand. To me it sounds louder than it should. I looked at pdf of transmission. Doesn't seem to have bearing there which seems odd to me see you would think there would be something there to support the shaft. Is there a bearing behind the seal of the tail of the transmission?

There is a transmission output shaft bearing. The pdf you read is probably for the old style 3650 (01-04) which used a slip yoke instead of a flange. If its leaking fluid from the output shaft then the bearing has probably worn out and is allowing fluid to escape, this could also account for the noise youre hearing

OK. I found this and looks like I just remove tail housing. Remove a snap ring and off come the bearing.

So does anyone know the part number for the bearing ? I was looking here... but I didnt see it.

Do anyone know a good way to get the race off without the special tool? I may just say hell with it and just change the bearing. It got be better than what it is now. I wish someone had a hole transmission for sale for under 400.

Posting some stuff for reference

Output flange Nut is 1.25" or 32MM.

Writing on the bearing itself is "INA NA 49/32 XL X-life SLOVAKIA 95 W9"

I was unable to find a replacement at Autozone or O'Reilly.

Parts are available if you contact the correct sources. Specialty Bearings like that are not going to be available through your generic parts stores.

Nation seal part number for extension housing is (710298 Not correct).

*Edit this turned out to be the wrong seal. It started to leak soon after I drove it.
