Has anyone figured this swap out yet? I've read that the speed sensor isn't compatible... 3650 is a 2 prong and mt82 is 3 prong.

Normally I would agree but for the price I'm getting the trans, clutch, shifter and drive shaft it's worth doing.

That would have to be free then. Anything over $500 bucks would be a waste.

It's not a waste.... [emoji3]

Also, the way my car is set up the gearing in the MT might be the best choice.. I'll post up my chart I made in a min comparing the 3650, 6060 ('11 gt500) and MT82 ('14 gt)

It is a waste , with your procharger a 3.66 1st gear would be worthless unless your rear is 3.15 .

I think he's stated he is running a 28" rear tire. I love my mt82, I can shift it a whole lot better than my old 3650 on it's best day. None of the weird lockouts and crap people complain about. And, regardless of the gearing in the trans, and if it's going to be useless in 1st gear...isn't any supercharged mustang, regardless of the transmission...useless in 1st gear. I do most of my playing around from 2nd gear on up anyway. Start out in 2nd most of the time, or go 1-3-5-6 in town. Doesn't bog, or have a hard time taking it. I think it is geared perfectly..my 3.31's feel perfect, I wouldn't want 3.73's unless I ran a tall tire to offset it some.

I say go for it, you seem to always be able to be in rpm regardless of speed. Not like my old 3v, where you had to slow down, or speed up, to get it to a sweet spot where it would feel punchy.

Second thought, it is not a waste, anything is better than a 3650, But for a street 90% track 10% car I really enjoy the two OD gears. My driving is in town or interstate no in between. You can always adjust gear or tires to get it right. I just love my 6060, and I changed the gears in it to , 2.99, 2.10, 1.45, 1.1, .74 and .50

Has any one addressed the speed sensor issue?

I like the gearing in your trans.
