^^wouldnt pass a sniffer testbut it would get past the OBDII test which just makes sure all sensors are ready and properly operating, most if not all states have done away with sniffer test

it might actually pass a sniffer too.. i know i was able to years ago in my 2001 GT that had an offroad H and MIL elims plugged in. passed with flying colors while stinking to high heaven LOL

Ive actually read quite a few people passing as well on various forums. Im not worried about it though.

What size did you drill the holes out to?

Been debating doing this or not since I have a Corsa Extreme AB and i'm a bit worried about the noise.

Big enough for the o2 sensor to fit through. Off the top of my head i dont remember the exact bit. I had to step it the whole way though because its decent quality metal and my drills on its last leg. Ill check the bit size when i get home from the office.

The reason i did it was because im not quite ready to tune this car yet, and i didnt want to run with the check engine light all the time. Its really simple to do, but if you have any questions just ask.

Thanks man. I wanted long tubes but with emissions, I can't and with cats, it's not loud enough. Headers are a ways off too so this seems easy enough.

Another question. Seems like there is conflicting info, but how bad is the gas smell running the cat deletes and no tune? I've heard the fuel dump to cool the cats causes a pretty bad odor if its not turned off in the tune.

Why can't you run long tubes and a Highflow catted midpipe?

There is a smell, but it's not that bad. Im slightly biased though because I've been around/working on race/drag cars with my dad since before I could drive.

Plus that smell doesn't bother me since he switched over to alchohal in his small block Chevy. First time I ran that it almost made my eyes water while sitting in the staging lanes with open headers. Lol.

I guess I could but I worry the catted mid would end up not working enough to be legal. Plus I already have a mid pipe on and catted ones are ridiculous in price in my opinion when you still end up having cats.

The exhaust smell typically doesnt bother me, but the way others have worded it, i dont want to ruin my DD. I'm used to foxes with no cats and dumped exhaust pouring in the car and my old carb'd Chevy truck smelling up the house lol

Just a little update.

This is a pitcure I took while i was drilling out the non-foulers. The Left is the finished product, as it sits on the car now. I had already started drilling the right one when i took the picture, so for reference it was half as large in diameter before i started drilling. I drilled all 4 non-foulers to look like the left, and then stacked 2 together.

This is just so people have an idea of how much needs to be drilled if they do this. I didnt have a large enough bit so i ended up milling the bit around to achieve the current diameter of the non-foulers.

I also got a set of Roush A/Bs for christmas, had those suckers on first thing christmas morning. Its loud, but i love it. Pops like a Mofo.

Couple little things.
I prepped my front corners and my rear markers, and had my buddy spray them for me. They look great, i just dont have any good pictures of the car as of now.

^It looks 100% factory.
Heres a quick 4th gear tunnel pull with the Cat-Deletes/No resonators/Roush's. My phone was in my cup holder for the video and only my driver window was cracked. Its loud.

Quick shot of the car on the sportlines.

Pulled on to my buddies grass to try and get a good shot hpoing the grass would make it look lower in the picture. But dead grass doesnt sit to high though...

I ended up taking the cat deletes off. It was really loud, and clients had a hard time hearing me through my Bluetooth. I liked the sound but I've been driving this car alot lately compared to the old car, and I enjoy driving it to much to let it sit, so the deletes are off, it's a compromise I guess.

Decided on going with a 10" square setup in charcoal, possibly the new 2013 Shelby gt500s, but im not 100% on them yet.

I was thinking about the 555r's in a 285/40/18. The AM knock offs are a 45mm offset, so if I'm thinking right everything should fit fine.

If anybody has any suggestions/comments let me know.

18x10 AM what's? They carry multiple wheels, some of which the offsets vary.

And thanks man!

You can buy my F14s lol

Hah, Im set on charcoal, and pretty set on the gt500s. If you get rid of them what are you going to get next?
