A guy locally is trying to sell his JPC 4 inch d/s for $300 to me. It's barely used, and in great condition. The only worry I have is that there are some d/s owners who say that the 4 inch will rub on lowered cars. What's your input? What are the advantages/disadvantages running a 4 inch as opposed to a 3.5 inch driveshaft?

Thanks,
Brandon

I had a 4 inch DS before the 6060 conversion. I'm only lowered about 1.5" in the back but never had rubbing issues. I think at the very least with sportlines you might have to relocate the emergency brake hanger that is close to the DS.

Ted had the Spydershaft with sportlines. Even after beating the crap out of the tunnel, it rubbed until he replaced the rear springs with Roush. He should have an extra set of the Roush rear springs for sale soon also...

I'm running sportlines and a spidershaft. Isn't it a 4 tapered to a 3.5?
