I had two issues with my 5r55s. First time, I had a couple of instances at the track. After doing a run, it would hesitate before going into reverse in the pits. After cooling down for a while, it wouldn't go into gear unless I revved it up to about 4 grand, then it would slam into gear. The last time that happened was in October 09, last day the track was open that year. Replaced the battery at someone's suggestion. (it was time anyway, was cranking slower, but he said he had the same symptoms after running the e-water pump and fans too long).

The following June, out of the blue it wouldn't go into gear after a long highway drive, even with revving it. Ford ended up saying the gears in the transmission pump were binding, and thankfully they replaced the pump under my extended warranty.

Never threw any codes either time, but when Ford was diagnosing it prior to replacing the pump, I think I remember them saying the trans wasn't seeing the pressure that it expected to see.

Currently the car has had the AC removed and a delete going in, the Trans it looks like its staying a 5r due to some wants. I want a auto no manual vb, and I want to be able to bolt it directly in. I will be upgrading the input and servos, hopefully a complete rebuild kit from TCI also thats suppose to be good for 1025. I'm not real sure of the trap speeds but if I remember correctly @ 125..... (could be wrong)

more than likely you just burned up your forward band. you would still be able to manually shift through the gears and reverse. its gonna be a hit though to have your trans rebuilt but defiantly cheaper than a new one or a conversion.

Wont even drive in rev, or with me shifting through the gears. It will catch from a light but only after revving for awhile before moving rev is completely gone though.

Yeah you prolly need a rebuild or you fried your tcm...but it sounds like an power input issue. Get it to a ford dealership and have them diagnose it and make sure you talk to someone that deals with Trans mainly with half a brain hah.
