The color is called Bright Orange Metallic, but it really closer to copper than orange.

Thanks. I am planning on an aluminum headed Windsor based 408 with a manual 5 speed.

408 with a procharger....... that would be awesome. I did have a friend that had a 408 windsor that ran low 10s, NA, and totally street able. I like the stroked windsors, lots of power potential---plus it will fit right in the engine bay as many cougars came with the windsor originally.

Nah, this one is going to be NA. It is just going to be a fun drive around town with the kids car. No roll bar or anything like that. The D1 is going on my 69 with a 427W.

I painted two different Cougar emblems in order to decide if the emblem would look good on the dash. I like the orange.

I prefer the silver. Black would almost look nice against that carbon vinyl as well.
