2006 Mustang GT - S550 interior, 7.3 Godzilla, 10r80

So new guy intro here… For the past year I have been working on brining an 06 GT back to life. I bought the car complete but with no drivetrain.

What started out though as a simple coyote swap turned into a complete gut and re-wire. The car now has a full 2017 S550 interior including a 2019 LCD cluster and dual zone HVAC. The drivetrain is a 7.3 Godzilla/10r80 combo powered by a Gen 3 (18+) coyote PCM wired into a 2017 electrical system.

Currently working through the tune and preping for paint!

Fitting the S550 dash. Windshield curvature is different and in order to avoid cutting the dash, it was mounted ~1.5” farther back from the firewall. This position still gains leg room as compared to an 06 dash.

Shifter and ebrake moved back to accommodate dash position.

06 door harnesses grafted into 2017 body harness. Also finished dash frame with OEM amp.
