I'm not sure when the problem began, but my A/C clutch is not engaging. I'm trying to find out how to jumper the low pressure switch and which switch is the low pressure one. I found one switch at the front of the car near the radiator and one at the back of the engine behind the manifold. which is the low pressure and which wires need to be jumpered?

The switch near the firewall, is it placed before or after the expansion valve? If before, it's the high pressure switch. If after, it's the low.

I've attached a schematic of your climate control system. You can see the wires, connections, and where you'll need to jumper the switches.

If you jumper them and it works, check the low side pressure. You may want to also direct jumper in +12VDC into the clutch and listen for the click.

If you run into any problems, let me know.

it wont come on if your freon has leaked out either, momentarily blip the schrader valve on the high or low pressure side and see if you even have freon in the system. if so, take a test light and check for 12 volts at the clutch, if voltage is there = bad clutch , if no voltage, pull the relay and jump there, and also check for your ground signal. relays give issues too.

I am having problems as well. Ford apparently revised the pulley and clutch system later on after 06 and on my 06 the outer plate on the pulley was rattling and making noise so I got the outer plate from an 07 and put it on and now the ac doesn't blow cold at all... I wish I knew what the hell you guys are talking about so I could fix this, it's starting to get reeeeeaaaaalllly hot in Texas haha. Has anyone had a similar problem with rattling ac pulleys? I can post a vid up but I don't wanna thread jack anymore than i already have
