Thanks . I removed the emblem but filled in the holes where the screws attached it.

I had to leave the key hole. You cannot crawl through the backseat of verts.

I've been thinking about this... how hard would it be to run a line/cable/something to the (FEDERALLY MANDATED) child safety pull inside the trunk and hid it under the rear seat? So if the power fails, you can still unlock the car, the pull out the rear seat to pull a lanyard that will open the trunk....

Looking really cool. I obviously love it since mine is also a Candy Apple Red V6. BTW if you really want to get rid of that keyhole and have a smooth back end check this out http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/TrunkRelease.htm that way you can release from inside without the remote.
