Has any one ever used an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump for the fuel system on our 3V's (in tank retaining the returnless system)?

If so, could you provide more details on how it was done and how it performs?

The A1000 is a return type pump, won't work well in a returnless system.

Should use their pump controller system to make them last, if not they die really quick.

What is your problem or need that you are looking into this kind of weird "solutions"?

A guy local to me had mentioned they were going to do some type of setup with an A1000, and I am curious if anyone had done it.

As I am a skeptic myself as to how well it will work, which is why I wanted to see some information on this from others experiences.

I would do it on an all out race car only in a return config, not on an street car.

There are plenty of streetable S197 specific solutions that allow great fuel flow and power.

You have not resolved your pump issues still?

I was planning to go with the Lethal Performance level II kit for my car and then throw in a third pump later if I ever need it. I felt this was my best option for my setup?

I was "talked" to about this system and regaurdless if I was to use it I am curious with the results they will have. The car it is going in I believe is in the 1000RWHP range so it is a race car.

I'm pretty sure they will config a return system with it.

edit: yes, that is a nice kit for 600-650rwhp.
