Hey guys I am researching what kind of wheels I want to put on the stang and the F14s have always been the wheels that caught my eye. I am looking to get staggered 19x9 fronts, and x10 rears in either piano black or gunmetal on my DIB 13 GT. Question #1 is what offset will be needed in the front to clear track pack brembos? I have never ordered custom rims before and if I ordered from American muscle would they bolt up? Question #2 is where do you guys order your forgestars from? AM wants about $400 a rim, is there anyplace that would do better? thanks guys.

Why get “custom” wheels and not get the as wide as possible?

You can go 9.5-10 wide in the front. 19’s or 20’s.

You can go 20x11’s in the rear.

All of them will clear the Brembo's.

I'm running a square set up, 18X10s all around, +42mm offset. Clears Brembos just fine, and has a nice concave to them.

I got them from a fellow S197forum member as a wheel/tire/TPMS package deal, but if I were getting them new, I'd try Jay at Hypermotive as well.

Alright thanks guys I will make sure to message Jay. I do want them wide, but for a daily driver I think that 10" in the back will be wide enough.

I daily drive my F14 20x11s. You'd be fine with 11" out back if you like.

I've done business with Hypermotive and I would recommend them also. I'd also consider 19x11s on the rear. That's what I run.

just wondering why would you not get 18's instead. More tire choices and cheaper. I wanted to run a 18 front and 19 in back but found out that there are not many wide 19 inch tires. I can find 315/30/19 but its too expensive and with that tire size the diameter is the same as 305/35/18. I am running 275/40/18 all around but will be going to 305/35/18 in the rear soon.

Because of looks. I did 18x9.5 square and REALLY like it. I'd have liked 19x10 more...I've got too much wheel gap in rear. 19's would have filled perfectly.

As much as I love AM and LMR, Hypermotive really impressed with my wheel/tire package. If I can support them, I will.

I run 19x11s in the rear of mine with 325/30/19 Michelin Super Sports, fitment is great.

Hi all, this is a new site for just S197's and I am looking forward to this site growing. Please feel free to register and pm me if you have moderator experience or a strong knowledge of the S197's to become a mod. I will need about 4 mods. Thanks guys!

By the way, the site will hopefully be up this weekend. Looking for any suggestions on the forum on what needs to change or be added.

Got any pics, just want to see what it would look like

Got any pics of those tires from straight above and from straight behind? I don’t see how you can fit 325’s (if they actually measure 325mm) in there. I’m running a 314.7mm tire on my blue car and there is literally only a few mm to spare.
