Really? My understanding is headers are the main HP gainer for exhaust? Also I have been looking around on here and see a lot of talk about AED. I have never used a tuner before and have to research how to read the data log. Are Bama tunes bad? Everyone uses them, well at least it feels that way.

Off subject where should I start a build thread?

I just have to say I love something about everyone's car in here!

I had nothing but issues with bama tunes. Swap to Mike Rousch and now no issues. Haven't seen a single coyote in the state faster than mine, and everyone loves to throw headers/intakes/etc on the car and run slow. Focus on what makes a car fun/fast IMO.

Unreal,

I will give it a try. If all else fails I will switch it up. I definitely do not want to damage the engine.

I will have lots of fun. It is fun to me already lol. I think I will wait on the headers and just stiffen her up a bit. Seems like if I was a drifter this car would be perfect.

I bet your vette is purtty!

I would also upgrade to BMR stuff over the other brands. Hell, it isn't even more expensive in most cases.

OP, great looking car! You certainly picked the fastest color! :driver:

I will NEVER EVER add up the cost of mods!

LOL. I try not to....but since i have everything in A Google Sheets document, it's so easy to just select the list of "purchased" and see the total. I'm surprised at that number--as in "no way! I haven't spent that much....wait....damn..." :uhoh2: Then remind myself to never let the wifey see that file.

Hey all! My parts have begun the shipping process to mah house! They will be here by Friday afternoon. I get home friday evening. Saturday I will be going to the shop on base to put the car on a lift and begin installing my exhaust.

On another note, my step-father just scored a 1992 gt very clean and an 87 gt running good as well both for 500!
