Advice on rear end whine

i used that exact formula ,., i think it was that post that gave me the link to the MHD specs and all,,
ford pinions are all but the exact same height so whatever the factory had on it, is normally good to send it as far as pinion depth goes,
now if you are doing it from scratch with all new axle housing and everything, than you must use the MHD to find pinion depth on ford pinions,,

yukon and all the others must find the pinion shim that will work as they have all different size pinions,so the MHD must be followed , ,,

once pinion depth is set correct, its just a matter of setting the backlash within spec and %99.999999999 of the time its good to send it and all is good with no bad repercussions..
