I have been looking into the odor bombs and spray fresheners on autogeek.com and wanted to know what you guys use. My car doesnt have any foul odors or anything I just want it to be noticeably fresh. I use wonder wafers every now and then but I want to use something that can be circulated throughout the car to keep it fresh... Any thoughts?

The odor bombs are some heavy duty stuff. If you do get it, do not press the nozzle to hard; it's basically designed for commercial use in hotels ect, and when locked it will go in fogger mode which is not fun. Yes, it accidentally happened to me once.

I love squash, it can be found on ebay for cheap and it smells awesome.

I use the California scents tins, each one will last me about 2-3 months before I swap to a new one, and all the interior detailers I use have a nice smell (Poorboys Trim Restorer, Chemical Guys Bare Bones) so that helps.

Squash is the only air freshener that I use, best smelling stuff ever.

Ok cool. And is squash a liquid or like a pine tree, or gel or...?

What I buy comes in a little cartridge, here is a link to it being sold on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Air-Spencer-C...N56Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326419672&sr=8-1

No. Squash is the name given to a scent by Japanese manufacturers. It's almost the universally accepted smell for car fanatics for some reason.

For you guys using this squash stuff, does it stick to an adhesive somewhere on the dash?

They come with 2 pieces of double sided tape which I usually stick the freshener in the side compartment on the door panel. I am sure there are other places to put it, but I find that to be the most convenient.

And does it smell like... Squash???

Some people compare it to something like Juicy Fruit bubble gum. It's not over powering, and lasts pretty long. Refills are super cheap as well. It's quite delightful, and ladies love it.

It can, but depends on the material of the dash as some double sided tape have a hard time adhering to the surface. My car has a place that it fits into perfectly so I just let it sit there.
