Air Ride Suspension Installed and Bodywork/Paint Progression

So the Air Ride Suspension is installed and all is working well.....Had a few minor issues with the front strut leaking air but that was due to the fittings not being sealed good.....So a little bit of teflon tape took care of that......Other than that everything worked out pretty well. This kit is bad ass and I recommend it to anyone that wants to do air ride suspension.....Talk to Jeremy @ Air Lift and he will set you up when you are ready....

Please excuse the dirtiness of the car.....This is probably the dirtiest that this car has ever been since the first day I bought it.....All the body work is being done and they are almost done with the driver door and then got to fill the holes and the antenna hole......then she is off to paint.

On to the photos.....Air Ride Suspension First and then the body work....

She is all the way on 0 all around.....As low as she'll go.....Exactly 1 inch from the ground to the chin spoiler.....

Not done with the trunk but this is where everything will be mounted.....Still have to finish off the back of the trunk with leather and a few other finishing touches before everything gets mounted down.......

Stripes are gone for now....but they will be going back on just in a little bit of a different way.....There will be a ghost effect done on the car along with some fading.....It will look a lot better than the stripes that were on there before.....We are still going to use a similar concept to those stripes though....

Everything will be paint....NO VINYL on the car execpt the decals for the sponsors.....Going with a Pearl Silver Metallic.....Once the stripes are painted on I will then decide if I want to add some airbrushing into the mix before we shoot clear.......Haven't decided yet as I want to see the stripes on the car first before I make any other decisions.....I may like it just the way it turns out without the airbrushing....

Pretty cool. Some ghost stripes could be very bitchin depending how they are done. Not everyone can do ghost stuff right, but when they are they look badass!
