i was able to take the whiteling transmission mount bushing out and drive it. ZERO VIBRATION now. so the transmission mount was obviously the culprit and not the DSS driveshaft.

running axle exchange with zero issues. MGW shifter FTW on shifting issues BTW.

I wanted to install the MGW Race Spec. but my stock shifter is smooth as silk under all conditions.

I've got 2 2014 low milage GT's exactly alike (one for wife) her's shifts like crap, mine is so smooth it's night / day difference.

She's getting the MGW Race Spec...

I'm going downtown to DSS (I only live about 8 mi. from there) and see about them actually doing the install for my car. I'm guessing if they install it, they'll clock it correctly the 1st time.

Length is irrelevant. Pinion angle is the key parameter.

DSS has a built in CV joint so you adjust the PA via adjusting the length of the shaft via your UCA. DSS suggested to me to move mine a quarter of an inch and it dialed out my vibration. That is changing the PA but you dont have to measure and do the math like with the other brands. I tried two of the other brands with no success. Always had vibrations. DSS was the only one that worked in my auto car. Auto cars seem to be way more sensitive and have vibration issues.

<---- This guy has a DSS one piece aluminum drive shaft and has never had vibration issues. Stock trans bushing, old style (not race spec) MGW shifter. (FWIW)

Didn't have issues on my Carbon Fiber DSS either, and it is installed in its second car now.

DSS alum shaft and zero issues with it.

I did break my DSS alum shaft on the vette, but it makes 1400+hp so ohh well. Got a DSS CF shaft on the way for it now.

I had the Whiteline trans mount bushing on my car, and modified to supposedly not cause any NVH, it still added quite a bit of it.

Had it in there for over a year ... recently took it out and I absolutely LOVE the shifter again ... no more vibration from the floorpan, through the center console, through the seat ... awesome.

Anybody wanna buy a modded Whiteline bushing? Lol
