soooooooo, i bought some new parts this year for the car. Car had nitto NT555 255/45 and 285/40 with H&R super sports, Adjustable UCA and adjustable LCAs. Im the type of guy that can never commit my car to a certain type of auto racing.
I love drag racing, always have since i was 16 years old. But last year my buddy got me into autocross which is pretty local to me, any drag strip is 2 hours away from me. Anyways, this year i bought new tires, I upgraded to NT555R 305/40 (rear) and NT555 275/40 (front) Koni yellow shock/strut. J&M caster camber plates, and Steeda Ball joints.
My overall question in this thread is, how are my rear tires going to perform in autocross? I know there a decent tire for the strip. but idk how often im going to be able to make it down to Englishtown or north to Lebanon Valley. Autocross is 30 mins away. Is the car going to push the front end? anyone else try these tires out in autox? Do they have a soft sidewall like a real drag tire? or just a soft compound?
