Well one of the advantages of being retired and living in a golf community is getting to play as much as you want. I play about 3-5 times a week in good weather. The disadvantage is being old and I can't hit it as far as I once did. Currently play to a 6.4 index but can't play from the back tees anymore.

Glad to see there are so many others that are cursed with the same illness as me! I have loved golf ever since I was 16 (only 22 now) when my dad moved us out to a golf course. Picked it up my sophmore year in hs and have love it ever since. I shot a low of 78 in hs and went on to play at a small sh!thole of a juco in west Texas where I improved my avg to 76-78 consistantly after that I moved home and worked at a golf store and went to a community college where I met my wife. Needless to say the frequency of my play has been drastically lowered since being married as I was and still am fully engulfed in her! So I play when I can now. But I still love the game and love to watch it any chance I get!
... shit im 21 and not even thinking about that yet.@06SilverBullet Yea neither was I. I was sitting in class and saw her from across the room. Went home and told my mom I found the girl I'm going to marry! Lil did I know she had a bf that I would have to get rid of but that's no big thing when you really want something! Lol! I was 20 and she was 19. After a year in an apt I had to get out of there so we bought our first house when I was 21 and am loving being a homeowner! Take your time man! It'll happen when it needs to!
Played a good course today, The Traditions Golf Club at Stonehouse, in Toano, VA. I shot a 69, this is the best round I've played for a long time.
