Jay.

Checked my TB and every connector I could see with my eyes. All were secure and connected properly.

I think the reason the front o2's weren't reporting in the log I sent you was because it was logged with live link 6.5

If I log through 6.5 right now. It still shows the front o2's not reading but if I log with gen-2 live link the front 02's register perfectly fine.

Do you have a new log with rpm?

Ok so what I gather is that o2 were working fine and fuel trims are good. Now it still ran shitty. Have you done a compression check along with base oil pressure?

The tech at the dealer never really said the o2 or fuel trims were not ready just looked weird / off. ? But still reporting.

his first post highlights all of the test he did.

Nick,

Has the intake manifold ever been off of the car?

Was there ever a Boss manifold on the car? If so, do you still have it? If so again, flip it upside down, are all of the port o-rings accounted for?

The SM at the dealer said the tech told him that the o2 readings were weird and it showed that the car had a performance tune on it. That's all he would tell me that the tech said to him. Like I said earlier, the conversation I had with the SM seemed VERY awkward/uncomfortable. Kind of like he wanted to tell me something but he couldn't.

Here's a pic of the compression test I did last week

Pulled the manifold off last week to clean and flush it. Checked all the o rings on the bottom and they were all there in great condition. The manifold had never been pulled prior to that.

Also checked all the injector o rings and made sure they were seated correctly.

Bank 1 LTFT is about 12% lean (1.125), but your bank 1 STFT is within 1% of commanded, it's hovering right around 1.0 in your log, so no real concern there. Bank 2 LTFT is abouit 6% lean at 1.06, but your bank 2 STFT is not logging, again this is a SCT issue.

Your idle is right around 650 which is what is commanded for an auto, widebands are measuring right around .99 vs a commanded of .98, so again nearly perfect.

From a log perspective, I can't see anything wrong with your car.

definitely sounds nothing like a cammed idle, sounds normal until the end it sounds a little weird. Could just be AC compressor surge.

It's also important to note that my car has the stock cats in it right now. When the cat deletes were installed it sounded much more like the ghost cam tune. I got it that it doesn't sound exactly like a ghost cam tune but its not NEARLY as smooth as my car has idled for the last 3 months. That's for sure.

If you notice at the end of my video when I moved over to the passenger side muffler the idle is choppy, you just have to listen closely. With cat deletes it was a lot more easier to distinguish.

I have the Trackey lope idle on my boss and it's a pretty weak lopey idle... And it's much choppier than yours...and I've got stock cats. I didn't hear anything that sounded completely out of the ordinary.

To all of you that have took the time to help me figure this out. I GREATLY appreciate it. Seems like I have an issue that isn't going to be figured through data logs or a video though.

If I didn't buy this car with the A plan I would have traded it in this week. I guess I'll just have to wait until I hit the 6 month mark in July.

Luckily I already have a buyer lined up for my Paxton kit so I won't have to look at it all the time and know that I will never see it on my car.

Believe this, if I had any thought that my car was driving/idling fine. I would be installing the paxton kit on my car right now.

No one knows your car like you do. I've had some bucking issues on my Boss that I know is there. That being said several people have driven it without feeling it. I say don't give up on finding a solution for the problem. Do you have a shop in town that you trust or at least have a good relationship with? Maybe you could work a deal with a tech to look it over... Not a tech at a Ford dealer though.
