I have a spec 3+ in my car, has maybe 40 miles on it and about 6/7 full heat cycles, was wondering where your guy's engages at? Mine seems to engage about a inch off the floor (I'm used to more towards the top/middle), also clutch pedal effort seems to be much lighter than stock. I was wondering if these were normal characteristics of this clutch? It holds the power just fine, I'm using a exedy tob and spec flywheel.

Montreal Qc,
Mine engages much higher at normal height. It is also definitely much more firm than the factory original.

I have had 2 different Spec 3+ in the car and both were about the same.
The first was a used one and the second a brand new one when my TOB failed.

You may still have some air in the line which is giving the low pedal.

Take a hand vacuum pump and pull 20" of vacuum on the master cylinder reservoir.
Pump the clutch pedal 10 times.
Break the vacuum in a quick manner.
Pump the clutch pedal another 10 times.

Repeat the above sequence 3-4 times to remove all trapped air.

Ok, Ill get a hold of a vacuum pump. I did the delete from the master cylinder so it has its own reservoir than pumped it 5 million times.

I have the 3+ on a T-56 and it feels very similar to stock, for what it's worth. Maybe slightly lower engagement, but effort is nearly identical. Stock throw-out bearing and flywheel.
