Yeah I thought that was a relay and not the fuse. The positive wire that comes with the pump kit already has a 30amp fuse in it. Is that the positive wire you are talking about? I hate it when you buy a car and there is no manual in it!

yes, but the stock fuel pump fuse is a 15 amp. it needs to be a 30.

I assume you are doing the FRPP dual pump setup? You shouldnt need to replace any fuses under the hood if you use the wiring harness that comes with the package. Only thing I would recommend would be to upgrade the main power wire that you run though the car to an 8 guage.

Well, I have some 4guage and 10gauge wire in the garage from when I justed to install stereos. Would the 4 be too large?(btw the 4gauge wire has a BIG fuse block on it with a 80amp fuss in it right now) Also what do you do at the wiring harness in the truck to accomadate the larger wire?

4 guage would be a bit over kill. You can use the 10 with no problem. I just use 8. I pull the sleeving off near the relay that is on the pump harness, cut the feed wire about 6-8 inches from the relay, and solder the new feed wire to the relay wire.

only time you have to replace the fuse in the fuse box is when you are using a BAP and stock pump on the stock harness....the gt500 harness uses its power from the 12 gauge wire you run to the rear and uses that 30 amp fuse.......
