I have been doing some research after posting this question. What I found was that Motive gear install instructions differ from FRRP. If motives instructions are followed there were no problems......

I don't know who the author of this info was.

even following motives gear install they are noisy and whine. do a search on the other site if you need further information. no matter how they are installed they make some sort of noise. my buddy went through 4 sets of motive before settling on the FRPP gears. FRPP 1 - Motive 0

after further research

I have found that there are 2 quality levels of Motive , one is like OEM replacement (cheap $129) the other is performance which is for drag racing and off road competition, these are like 250 plus 90 for master instal kit

motive gears make noise, plain and simple. different ratios have different noise levels. The ford gears that have an "A" in the part number are ford production gears and if installed properly wont make noise. The ford gears with a "M" in the part number are motive gears and they will make noise too

Hey brother, I am a researcher then a buyer, and a tightass on top of all that.
But I do know that when 50 out of 50 posts say Motive is noisy.........well my Momma didn't raise a hardheaded fool......lol.

Now How can I be sure that the gears that I purchase are the A and not the M
