Well, I apologize to you if it irritates you that much. However, someone is attacking another poster in a thread that has already had it's settlement reached. Why couldn't Kuro make his own thread about his issues rather than shitting all over this one? Also, Kuro has a long history of being an absolute prick for no reason. He enjoys starting shit and enjoys being cruel and mean to others for no apparent reason than to kick someone when they're down and simply because it amuses him. I detest people who enjoy being assholes for no other reason than to see the reaction they will get.

Please, don't let my, or anyone's posts, determine your like or dislike of these forums. You can put me on your ignore list and never read another post from me unless someone quote's me. But please don't gather your entire impression of this site from my posts to someone who has earned my dislike. Perhaps, if you've the time, you can go back through some of Kuro's posts and see for yourself why I feel the way I do.

LOL! I only get upset at things like this bullshit. I'm not upset all the time. Stressed out a lot perhaps, but not mad.

As far as my lengthy posts and opinions, as I mentioned already, you can set your options to ignore me and you'll never see my posts again unless I am quoted. I don't want to be the person that causes anyone to view this place as anything other than what it is. An awesome website dedicated to people who love their cars that is full of very useful information and chock full of folks who are on top of their game and helpful.

I am not always correct. Not by a long shot. I'm often overly-confident and very direct about things, but I can't help that. The way I am here is the same as I am in real life. My lack of certain social filters from time to time is very frustrating for me. I would imagine that since not many here know me, it would be very easy for you to get that impression. I apologize to you as well. It certainly isn't a way I want to be thought of.

Holywood is a damned good guy. He has bought so many parts and sold so many parts on here, and has, by and large, treated everyone he deals with with respect and honestly. He got fucked over by someone else and due to not personally inspecting the parts, or due to a lack of experience, mailed off some bad shit. He's had his pee-pee spanked multiple times for this. He has also stated he has learned a valuable lesson from the last couple of issues he has had with people.

Sorry, but I don't call a guy dishonest when that guy has a long history of doing right by people. He got his dick caught in the door on this one and one other one that I know about. I do believe he has made good on those transactions. SO LET'S ROAST HIS ASS ANYWAY!! :sigh1:

With that, I'm done in this thread.
It's not just you trust me there is alot of people on here that just don't seem to get it. Oh well.

Kuro just make a thread now like Frank said, we all know how much they love when you do that .

Real talk, i'll just keep quoting this every time someone complains about me starting a new thread about something that is already being discussed.

Craigslist>Hwlywd>S197forum parts for sale, that seems to be how things go. Kuro has this pretty much covered.

More often than not it is parts that are bought off these VERY SAME CLASSIFIEDS, "installed", "removed" and resold at a higher price.

Now I have nothing against "flipping" in the business world, it is basic economics. I have a problem when you take advantage of people selling at a low price; Because , despite all the "drama" we have on here, at the heart of it all we love mustangs and there is an unspoken camaraderie and we would hook up a forum member before a total stranger.

Despite all the precieved "Shit talk" and "trolling", I will, and have gone out of my way to help a fellow enthusiast out. Be it doing an install for free, or giving away free parts I enjoy sharing the passion and the "brotherhood" if you will that is felt; and this is felt even more so amongst Texans. We tend to stick together. That is why it is so irksome to see this stuff happening "so close to home".

What exactly is the problem with what he is doing if he pays a seller an agreed-upon price, then sells to a buyer for an agreed-upon price? He's not holding a gun to anyone's head.

After all, we are not Communists.

Maybe you don't have a problem with it, but taking advantage of a persons generosity for personal financial gain is not "cool in my book".

So you're saying that he is taking advantage of someone's generosity because he wants to sell something for $90 that he got for free? If someone else thinks they're getting a good deal at $90 then I don't see how that's bad. That is capitalism. You believe he shouldn't make a profit? Or that the profit he's making is excessive? Then don't buy the part. But if you're in the market for that part and everywhere else you looked, you were going to have to pay $125 for it, then isn't it a good deal? If it's not a good deal, then no one will buy it and he'll lower his price.

You also have to consider the cost to ship, the cost of picking it up, his time to deal with it, etc. Fuck, I think he's giving it away.

Again, we aren't communists.

If he jumps in every for sale thread and says dibs and locks it, I would see a problem with it for sure as it's a sort of monopoly over the classifieds section basically.
But he doesn't do that. (I hope he never does lol)
Maybe selling free shit you got from other people isn't the "coolest" thing to do but I don't think that's a HUGE earth shattering thing.

I have no qualms with VENDORS operating by that capitalistic mantra. If you fail to see what is wrong about "capitalism" on an forum of internet enthuasiasts between members, then I have no reason to waste any more time attempting to discuss this with you.

Actually, I see nothing wrong with capitalism in any aspect of life. Why don't you enlighten me? Should this be a socialist or communist forum?

Really, why label it? If it's a good deal, it will happen. If it's not, it won't. The market will decide if it's a good deal. And if it is a good deal, why would you be mad about that?

It's no big. I like helping out fellow enthusiasts and friends. Not making money off of them.

Enough said.

So you're saying that Mustang enthusiasts should never make a profit from their dealings with each other? And if they do, it's bad? Does each individual Mustang enthusiast get to determine when they make a profit and when they don't? Should that be determined by someone else? Or should it be determined by the "morally superior Kuro"?

I'm just trying to understand your thinking here.

Listen, I usually give my parts away for really cheap or free.

I've offered to work on several cars for free.

Hell, even this morning I offered to install a Saleen blower and some suspension components to a guy I've never met before.

With that said, I've never had an issue with someone selling parts I gave them for free. I give my parts away when I don't want to deal with the hagglers, don't want to continually update an ad, need to clear out some space in my garage, want to hook someone up. Last month I gave some local kid a set of Flowmaster American Thunder axlebacks for a 12 pack of Guiness.

If someone gives parts away for free, it's their choice. Is Caleb expected to give the same parts away for free if he wants to get rid of them? Not at all.

No one said he was, the point is its kinda fucked up that he does that.

I don't understand this statement. Are you saying no one expects him to give away the parts for free, but it's fucked up if he doesn't give them away?

You are from California. You do not understand, nor will you ever understand what it means to be a Texan.
