Are V6 rear brakes smaller?

I am having trouble getting my 15" wheels to clear the top of the caliper on my rear brakes. Has anyone swaped to v6 brakes? Are they smaller? If so will they bolt on easy? Any help or part #'s would be great!

Well i dug a little into post that came up on the search here and see a few people saying they are the same as the gt if anyone has and advice let me know

Nope, they're the same size. At least the rears. The fronts will make it easier getting a 15" wheel on there though.

They use the same size rotor and everything, if you go to buy a replacement for the rear rotor or caliper from Ford the v6 and GT are the same selection there is no distinction (just some further proof).

Yes the rear are the same. What brand wheel and size are you using? I have an 06 with the Jegs prostar design 15 by 8 5.5" bs with no rubbing but it is close.

I'm trying to get my 15x10 greg weld's to go on with 325/50/15 mt dr's

I have heard a lot of guys having trouble with the Greg Weld rear's in a 15x10....Just about as much grinding as I had to do with the Draglite's...

IIRC, Joedls has them on his redfire GT. might ask him on that. Unless I'm thinking of someone else..

and actually GIjosh28 had some but not sure if he ever mounted them or just sold them.

Mine are 17".

I ran the 17s all summer last year but i wanted to go with a bogger tire and a 15 rear.... Hope I don't have to eat these
