hey so in my 2012 mustang v6, mainly coming from the rear there’s this clunking sound, and especially over brick and stuff it sounds like clunk clunk. this was happening when i first bought the car with all the stock stuff, so i upgraded so sr performance coilovers and sway bars but that didn’t fix it, then i put new bump stops on the rear since they were corroded off but that did nothing either, i honestly have no clue to what it can be any help would be amazing

You are lowered I assume and are likely bottoming out. Mustangs don't have a lot of travel to begin with and lowering them reduces it more. My Stang was clunking because of loose swaybar bushings. You can test that by banging a link with your hand. If that makes the noise they need replaced. The upper control arm could also be worn and I assume that could cause clunking

I was shocked how loud it sounded just from a little play in the swaybar link bushing. It sounded like a hammer hitting the chassis. I ordered poly bushings from Energy suspension but I was able to fix it temporarily by driving some self-tapping screws into the loose rubber bushings which expanded them.
