Auto to 5 speed swap

I have a 08 gt auto. I have a 06 gt manual that is a donor, not getting rebuilt. Can I swap the transmission? If so what resources are out there to help me with a dedicated parts list and process. Let me stress- I have a complete 06 car. It is not getting rebuilt. Thank you!
