Axis Circuits In, Tires?

Got my 18x8.5 Axis Circuits in last week. Great looking rims. I'll post up pics soon.

17 lbs on bathroom scales

Looking for lugs and tires. Gorilla and Nittos? Suggestions?

Street driven (on dry days) with some track/strip time.

That's the size I think will work best for me. While 275s fit, they bulge a little too much and I'm not sure how they would handle in this case.

Anyone have a compare on the Invos vs the 555 or have another suggestion?

Anyone like to use something other than Gorilla lugs for this app? I've not found any race type or forged lugs that would fit.

Can't speak for the Invos, but if you're talking about HPDE track time, you will HATE the nt555s.... speaking from experience on that one.

They're good for a lap or two, but they start losing grip when you would think they are "warm."

Don't know how they are on the strip though.

i believe falken has a 255/45R18 in the azenis if you want a pretty grippy race/road tire...
