Does anybody know where I can find an adapter fitting (such as the one shown below) to allow an NPT fitting to be attached to the axle tube? I didn't have much luck searching McMaster.

Thanks.

I never could figure out what the thread pitch was on the vent. I ended up running a pipe tap into the axle tube. Just make sure that you pack the tap full of bearing grease so the shavings will stick to it.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid doing that. For now, I just ripped the cap off the OEM breather and used it as a barb fitting. It's a little backyard, but it'll do for now.

The OEM fitting looks like 7/16-14, but I have no idea where I can get a fitting to convert between that and 1/4" NPT. I guess I could make one...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I wanted to confirm that the Swagelok fitting in my link is correct for the axle tube.

The axle tube threads are 7/16-20 straight threads. The female threads in that fitting are 1/4" NPT.
