He can flip parts all he wants . . . I don't see a problem one bit and here is why:

If he flips a part makes a couple bucks he will buy a new one sooner or later. This in return will most likely go to our vendors on the site which in return pay to be a vendor and through the chain of things keeps the forum open. I don't see a problem one bit for him to do this or anyone else. If people buy the part for more. Then it is what it is they are happy or they wouldn't buy at that ps a negative rep would hurt him to buy and sell. Since I am a mod for the classifieds what can I do??? I see positive feedback all over for him for the people that claim he did wrong. It's a stalemate. Use I trader correctly END OF STORY.

You're an idiot. So JPC, BBR, etc should pay vendor fees just because they own a business? Making profit off a forum is all the same, vendor or not. He is constantly selling, not just every once awhile. And most the parts aren't even off his own car! He is using the forum like a vendor. Vendors do not keep the site running entirely on their own either. It's also us supporting members. He needsto pay up and make this right. End of story. Enough with iTrader. You know it's barely used, and it shouldn't be that way but that is no excuse for Caleb to be screwing guys over and not being held accountable.

Who cares if he pays a fee or not.

He has a history of dicking people over and still gets away with it and continues to sell on the forum. It is the MODS job to do something about it so new/unknowing users are aware of it, and what they are buying may not be 100% what is advertised.

Case Closed

it's not the Mods job to police transactions.

the mods do their best to help where we can, however a private transaction between buyer and seller is exactly that, a private transaction. this is clearly spelled out in the rules

Then dont buy from him if you feel that way or if others feel that way. No need to call me names I'm trying to help with the questions you have presented and the info you stated.

Vendors do not keep the site running entirely on their own either. It's also us supporting members. He needsto pay up and make this right. End of story.

This is true it is a mix of vendors and members,so don't buy his items and he wouldn't be able to sell them on here and make money if you feel that way.

Enough with iTrader. You know it's barely used, and it shouldn't be that way but that is no excuse for Caleb to be screwing guys over and not being held accountable.

This is where I disagree. I do not know it's barely used I use it ALL the time and others do with me as well. Take responsibility in your own hands and USE IT. I didn't say it was an excuse for him. The people being screwed over are screwing themselves over if they left a positive I trader.

It's just like Ebay. If you see negative usually you don't buy and it works out great! This is the whole point of why we have the Itrader system to weed out the good and bad.

I'm not going to discuss this any further. There are other mods and "higher up's" that can shed some light on the situation.

It's still his job to try and make the situation right or not allow Caleb to sell/buy until this is resolved. A lot of people feel he is getting away with it. Not just me.

I Have never bought from him, and now I never will.
I use the iTrader allvthe time. I was simply stating a lot of people don't on this site. It seems like you're making that excuse for him. Awesome job. I just hope Caleb makes this right

actually it's not his job to do any such thing. again read the rules:

S197Forum.com and/or it's staff does not and will not assume any responsibility for anything posted in the Mustang S197 Classifieds forum. This Classifieds forum is offered for the sole use of our members for private-party personal transactions, and any buying, selling or bartering is done so at the user's own risk.

the mods will get involved on many occasions to try and work out a situation, however they have no responsibly to do so.

I'll no longer debate this, so Ryan, voice your view, but lay off the personal attacks

Personal attacks? Idiot was the only one. Why have mods if they're not responsible to do anything and don't even care to try. But I understand now.

Bashing the mods will NOT clear this up. You know as well as anyone that the mods on this board do a great job of policing the forums as best as they can and to most people's liking.

When is the last time we had a scammer on the forums? Caleb may be wrong in this transaction...but certainly not scamming anyone. Transactions between members (in good faith) are between members. If a mod needs to step in and supply info or guidence then they do. We still have not heard Caleb's side...so let it go for now.

Yes calling RtB was an attack in my view.

:ugh1: you really are not seeing the point. The mods are responsible for maintaining "order" if you will and having the rules followed. Most do care to try, as I said they will and have been involved in mediating classified issues, however, it's not a mods "job" as you put it to do so. You and others, nor I, are not aware of everything that goes on behind the scenes to resolve issues. Also you think any other board works differently? The classifieds are here as a courtesy to the members, a privileged not a right. If they get to be too much of a PITA for the staff, guess what, they could disappear. No one wants that to happen. So I thank you in advance for chilling out.

Dude that is great that you and others have had good dealings with him, BUT the issue in the BAD SELLERS thread is that, many people have had issues with him, this being at least the second open lynching thread on him this year.

The iTrader doesn't rightfully reflect who he is, as just for example the whole debacle with Bruce and the block or heads or whatever, didn't go to iTrader, as there are also others

The thing is majorty of people that have payed attention to him and his selling practices, HOPEFULLY would never buy from him.

I'm sure he would like to comment or make this right, BUT as he protrayed in his build thread "Yup, LOL" attitude and the fact that right now, thanks to Xbox Live, he is balls deep in the heat of battle playing Battlefield 3, which is obviously more important then making things right, he will be slow to do so, if he does.

Nuff said....(Now we sit and wait for his Xbox to crash before he will consider answering)

Sounds like they were not fine and not as described. If he was a man of his word he would post in this thread or make it right.

I did not want to get into the middle of this mess, but thought I would share some history on these gauges. They were installed on my '07 for ~2.5 years (I purchased them used in Jan. '09) and were sold to HOLYWD in Sept. (paypal transaction on 9/3/11) after I responded to his WTB ad. While I do not know exactly what was exchanged between these 2 in the course of their transaction, at least you know the history/age of the gauges.

I am done here, but I can only hope this gets resolved quickly.

Well, I have been trying to hold off on doing this but cant wait any longer. This guy has awesome feedback and a beyond great rep, but I will never buy anything from HOLYWD again! I bought a set of aeroforce interceptor gauges almost a month ago. I have pm's of him telling me these are only a month or two old and in new condition. They are in new condition but thats where it stops. After playing around with the parameters and found that most of them wasnt working for my car, I contacted aeroforce. According to them, if the gauges or a month or two old, i should be able to change the platform on the gauges to the one for my car(platform4) Well, i cant which according to aeroforce makes these gauges at least a year old since the latest firmware update was december 2010. Then i found out from aeroforce that the new style gauges have screw on bezels and mine have the crimp on style. They told me this style hasnt been sold in over 2 years. I had contact through phone with Caleb until i asked him to take the gauges back and he will no longer contact me. When i first contacted him about these, he then told me he wasnt the original owner and had bought these from another member. He also told me the guy he bought these from also had a new 5.0. Well if these gauges were used on two different 5.0's, why arent they on the right platform? Seems like i got lied to again. This is not what i was expecting from a MOD on here with such good feedback and rep. He is fighting my paypal claim right now but i have pm's of him stating they were only a month or two old and emails from aeroforce telling me how old these gauges are. I guess we will see what happens.

Kimmer, his classifieds privlidges need to be suspended for the time being. Until then, unfortunatley, I would advise noone buy anything from him till this gets resolved. Thats all I can do as a classifieds moderator at this point.
