Dave, this was directed @ the OP.

I lost my psychic abilities when I was devirginized last week. :roflmao:
i figured once i finally posted up that i would let the other mods handle the situation. I have already tried time after time before i posted up to get in touch with him with no replies. After he denied my paypal claim, then i decided to post up. I understand the rules of buying, selling, etc and i know the site is not to be held accountable. I just posted up my situation and was hoping maybe since he is a mod that he may try to make things right. I have had numerous pm's of guys interested in the gauges so im sure i wont have a problem selling them. They are in new condition but just wont work for my car or i would keep them. I am still surprised that he hasnt tried to contact me after i posted up. Oh well, hopefully now there will be a lot more people cautious of buying things from him. I know i will never buy anything else from him and will always check the bad sellers section if i buy anything else from anyone because just looking at someone's rep and itrader doesnt always mean the person is one you can trust. Lesson learned on my part.

a few pages back, they clarified that he "was" a mod, but due to certain circumstances, no longer is.

he is not a classified mod, he has mod privileges for "Mustang s197 General Forums"

Jesus Christ.

You act like the mods aren't doing anything.

There is an ongoing discussion the mods are having in our Admin panel.

Don't assume the mods and admin aren't doing anything.

where else can we make fun of all you guys..... :roflmao:

no access for you. only full site mods and admins

How about you guys have a little faith in our admins and mods? Let them do their work and quit assuming they're doing the wrong thing or doing nothing. I'm sure they'll figure out what needs to happen and get it done.

We are on this and it matters very much to us. We have been talking about handling this from the beginning of it. Because we don't post, post, post and then more posts about it - please do not take punches at us or the board assuming that we don't care. We do care a lot.

I bought 2 things from Caleb (HOLYWD) and gave + feedback before testing the products and came to bite me in the ass..

First one was a spydershaft 4" ds...Had a horrible vibration where I couldnt even see out of my side mirrors b/c the glass was shaking so bad. Had to drive 100 miles to a shop that could balance it

2nd one was my oil pan. The lip area (what mounts to the block) was bent pretty bad. I thought it would fix itself when I screwed it in, but I have developed a leak from it...I still havent got under it to fix it, but I will soon.

I agree he buys stuff cheap and then resells it, but that is not wise on his part. I have had to spend my money to fix things b/c they weren't in the condition as stated. I believe he goes by what the original seller says and then caleb uses that for the description.

yea i hear ya!, coilpacks i bought off him were no good... learned my lesson though, never again.

So one good experience out of how many bad? I think it's obvious that he sells more junk than good stuff. Not to mention my dealings with him, when I bought a "complete 07+ coolant setup" to find that the lower hose was cut and shortened, and was not any good. Of course, he didn't mention any of that in his for sale thread.

Only thing i can say is make sure you use I trader. Looks like it was not used correctly if he has a high rep but has done so many bad deals. It's in place for a reason please use it.

I bust my butt to make sure everything I trade sell or buy works perfect for everyone.

So has anyone went back and issued negative Itrader on him yet ?

Kimmer, his classifieds privlidges need to be suspended for the time being. Until then, unfortunatley, I would advise noone buy anything from him till this gets resolved. Thats all I can do as a classifieds moderator at this point.

+1, He has to have seen this and no response in unaceptable.

RUH-ROH...Caleb needs to get stangcrazybitch off his dick and get in here!!!!!!

Funny thing is that is what just happened with my drink !!!

I have full faith this will be handled as it should by the mods and admin here. It always is! Others should think the same. My 0.02.

Well, I have been trying to hold off on doing this but cant wait any longer. This guy has awesome feedback and a beyond great rep, but I will never buy anything from HOLYWD again! I bought a set of aeroforce interceptor gauges almost a month ago. I have pm's of him telling me these are only a month or two old and in new condition. They are in new condition but thats where it stops. After playing around with the parameters and found that most of them wasnt working for my car, I contacted aeroforce. According to them, if the gauges or a month or two old, i should be able to change the platform on the gauges to the one for my car(platform4) Well, i cant which according to aeroforce makes these gauges at least a year old since the latest firmware update was december 2010. Then i found out from aeroforce that the new style gauges have screw on bezels and mine have the crimp on style. They told me this style hasnt been sold in over 2 years. I had contact through phone with Caleb until i asked him to take the gauges back and he will no longer contact me. When i first contacted him about these, he then told me he wasnt the original owner and had bought these from another member. He also told me the guy he bought these from also had a new 5.0. Well if these gauges were used on two different 5.0's, why arent they on the right platform? Seems like i got lied to again. This is not what i was expecting from a MOD on here with such good feedback and rep. He is fighting my paypal claim right now but i have pm's of him stating they were only a month or two old and emails from aeroforce telling me how old these gauges are. I guess we will see what happens.

i would like to add that after listing a price, after you say you will take it for said price, he will then tell you to either cover the paypal fees or send the money as a gift. i wont deal with someone who changes their pricing to benefit themselves

He doesn't own a business he shouldn't pay a vendor fee (my personal thought thats up to Kimmer and others).

I didn't say I had a dealing with him. People need to use the Itrader system. You are missing MY point. If people used it the right way we would not have this issue. If he had a negative trader account he wouldn't be able to buy OR sell. So this is the point you should understand. Don't blame him blame the people who gave him good rep when he should not have received it.

I wouldn't call what Lightblade, Fallenauthority and a couple others are doing a business but they pay vendor fees.

This is fucked up, in my opinion.

As per his build thread...

Saw that as well:omfg:

Sounds like they were not fine and not as described. If he was a man of his word he would post in this thread or make it right.

Doesn't matter who it is, the situation needs to be resolved. If something is sold that is not as advertised, and the item can be returned in the same condition as received, then the seller needs to take responsibility for it and accept the return.

This is very true! A seller here has a responsibility to make it right if something they sell is not correct.

I can say this because I have done it. I sold a part not to long ago that the buyer was not happy with. I had bought the part awhile back for use on my car from someone else and didnt see the issue before it was shipped. We both did what we should though. The buyer stated the issue. I then told him that I was not aware of the issue and if he would return the item I had no issue with giving him a refund. After I received the item back I saw that I was in the wrong! Right thing to do was to issue a refund along with the return shipping since it was an error on my part. I hope others who read this will follow suit with there exchanges here.

With that said if the buyer wants to return the item for any reason he is not happy with it that is not my fault then I would expect them to pay the return shipping and we have a draw.

I am not here to make money off this site and most here are not. We do this for the love of these cars and racing or just enjoying them. Selling parts here makes us able to buy other parts to mod our cars as we see fit.

Good luck to those involved here.

Once again just my 0.02

I've sold things in the past that USPS lost and was uninsured, I paid out of my pocket to refund the buyer without me getting the item back. The least he could do is issue a refund and take the item back.

Wish I could have gotten that lucky....a USPS employee stole one of my $800 heads and they told me it was just my loss

I bought lowering springs off of "Holywd" when I first got into the s197 scene, and the transaction was great! Nice and smooth, no problem and the springs were right. Sux this transaction has gotten so shady, especially after the rep I thought he had on this board. He contacted me about my WTB thread, I agreed to buy some things then never heard from him again...
