Yeah cuz that's what people do... turn away local buyers to accept a low-ball offer.

Well, that went shitty real quick, didn't it?

What a douche to hold onto the money like that.

Lol, I'm saying that if I would have had several people online offer me money for an item, I sell to the one, pack the shit up, then get canceled on I would be upset and out the packing costs of the other people interested found similar parts and were no longer interested.

Do you understand now?

Oh I wasn't misunderstanding you... I was saying the story seemed a little unlikely.

Nobody, especially somebody that's supposedly been burned "twice by this forum" passes up a LOCAL sale to take less money to ship it.

NO-BODY:damnit:

UPDATE: I got the refund back for the 159.51. im fine with the paypal fees being taken out since i was ready for him to only send back 115 anyways. I felt terrible for having to back out of the sale and explained to him what happened. He seemed ok with it when I PMed him and thought everything was fine since I told him to keep 50 bucks for his troubles and to cover whatever packing material he had purchased.

My mustang is toast and I was able to pull a few parts off of it that werent damaged like the intake, tuner, stereo system, and strut tower brace.

I was patient for a couple months as I understand the holidays are tough on our wallets. He mocked me for filing a paypal dispute so late, but I just did it to get his attention as he was ignoring my PMs on here. I never wanted this to turn into a pissing match or anything. If he felt that I low-balled him, then I didn't know that until today.

Well, everything is resolved and I'm happy! Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately that is how things go some times in business. You may get burned. There's been countless times in my business I set appointments and people never show. But you just forget it move on. I don't think Vapor should use his "free parts" or "good reputation" as a freebie to act as a dick. EVEN if it was already packed up professionally (you can do it for free yourself) and the sale falls through, IT'S PACKED FOR THE NEXT PERSON ALREADY! Seems like Vapor was a good seller. I hope he chills out and uses this as a learning experience. In the end I'm glad everything worked out, but this could have been a voided

That gif is reserved for special occasions.

For the record, he's pinked for 2 days.

It's because he was knowingly and maliciously holding onto this guys money for several months, and is only now giving it back after appearing in the Bad Seller's thread.

Not only that, but he said he's done with the forum anyway, yet came back to insult my mother after I serenaded him on the way out.

Maybe he can chill out for a couple days at the Coral and he'll be ready to come back with a new outlook on the whole situation.

Until then, enjoy that PINK dress Nancy!

All of this over,
08 Vapor
(Well, refund issued in the amount of $159.91 less paypal fees of $5.09.)

I'm certainly not one of the Rich & Famous but really over, ($159.91).

Terry, are you asking if I pinked him over $160 or if he thought $160 was worth his actions?

Either way, it was only 2 days, he should be back today.

Nick,

Not at all ...........

I was saying all that Crap over $160.00 Dollars from the Seller.
And dragging it out since last October.

My thoughts are, send the guy his money and simply move on.
If the Seller felt he was being burned over and over selling on the Internet then just stop doing that.

I'll be honest with you I don't know either one of these guys but for a lousy $160.00 Bucks I would have sent that to the Buyer if I had read this Thread sooner.
That is if that amount of money was that important and it very well might be with a wrecked Mustang to contend with.

I will never understand someone holding onto another person's money for months and not sending it back.
Especially since the Buyer even offered to let the Seller keep $50.00 bucks for his trouble.

I thought it more of the principle/attitude 08 Vapor had with the whole situation, I don't think the money amount had anything to do with it and rightly so.

I bought a Roush 9 bar replica grill for my Roush, it's been 2 weeks this Friday and I am unable to have him contact me back nor do I have a tracking number saying the grill was even shipped! So now sitting and waiting. If I don't have it or at least a tracking number by Friday I'm taking it up with PayPal. Fuck that guy.
