No dog in the fight, but i ship daily and i also ship to guys across the world. 4 months or so for waiting on a container is not far off. I have a few buyers that do the same and store it all in a container till it is full. My line of work is atv/mc stuff and i have sent whole atvs or m/c's to a container and then send a few more a few months later to the same container. Then not to mention say when it is full it can take a month before they have room on a ship to send it. Yes i know the time frame is off to some but it actually is not. Then you can throw in waiting on customs to clear it and i have seen that take up to a month depending on where it went. Sucks for the buyer but i do see where he is coming from for the date and such.

some of you guys dont know anything about shipping at all... please if you dont know how it Works please dont say nothing about it. im going to explain a Little bit how it Works.

1- To fill the container with a lot of parts its hard because not to many people in spain want American car parts so it takes a while to fill it up.(normally takes a couple moths)

2- speed - You want the fastest one you pay for the shipping $3000 that normally takes a month. But if you prefer a slower one that first goes to a lot of cities of spain that normally takes 3 months and it cost $1000 for the shipping.

3- Taxes- each port have their own taxes and the cheapest and best one is exactly the farthest.

4- And then customs. They normally take 2 weeks to check out everything inside of the container and then you get all the parts after you have to ship it to the people all over the country...

5 - Thats a lot of time.

I never said the problem was either. I was just stating I personally would buy only new and would try to avoid problems like this if it was such an issue to ship.

Items should always be inspected upon arrival, not 4 months after its received. This is the case even when buying new parts from vendors. I dont know you so this next comment is just me being the untrusting skeptic i am. In 4 months if i was the seller id have believed this blower had already been installed and that the damage was caused by you. I say this because if i spent 3k id be opening the box and inspecting it as soon as it arrived and it would be on the car within a couple weeks.

Santi,

Normally I stay off this Section of S-197.
This time will be one of my exceptions though.

Sorry to read about your recent experience with your purchase of the supercharger.

Since you are in Spain and I am here in the USA maybe I can at least offer you a few suggestions below.

(1) Don't be trusting of purchasing anything over the internet from this Mustang internet Site or any other.

(2) Keep in mind that you are in Spain and some of the sellers in the USA know that so they very well might not be HONEST with you.

(3) There are a lot of super-nice-members here on this internet site but there are also unfortunately some that are not to be TRUSTED.

(4) With the overall cost of shipping pre-owned parts/items from here in the USA if I were you and could afford to I suggest buying NEW if at all possible.

Good-Luck in the future and as I said don't be TRUSTING buying over the internet !!!

I think its just another case of the blower and manifold not being separated prior to shipment. I would advise anyone who is buying a used blower to ask for rotor pictures prior to purchase. If the seller don't want to do that, I would just move on to another seller.

Looks like further twin screw type blower sale threads should include pics of the rotors moving forward. Granted, this blower is completely salvageable, we have seen some completely trashed. It will save headaches and drama (although we all like the drama). Glad to hear it's going to get fixed.

Yeah, it's not something that I would like to have done without any pictures or anything like that in the original link outside of text me.

I just thought maybe you guys might have heard of this guy and might be able to help push him to get the stuff out to these people.
