Pretty irritated at bama/american muscle. After spending thousands with them they just informed me that I have to pay another 150 bucks for my "free tunes for life" membership. More like "free tunes for the life of your car". If you get a new mustang and unmarry the tuner you have to pay another membership fee. What a crock of shit. They said they could take off 10 dollars for me.... never buying from them again. Put it towards shawn at aed tuning by me.. that is all..

guess you didn't read the not so fine print.... the font is at least as big as everything else on the page... so you "rant" on a company when it's you who chose not to be informed...

You're right. Just a good excuse to have this highly regarded tuner tune my car. Just told me over the phone he went 10.6 n/a in his 14 manual car with stock air box. So excited for this.

No but i take care of my customers whenever there is an issue especially if it's a good account. I've spent well over 7 grand with them. I get i don't run a fortune 500 company and its different. All I'm saying is that they should change the wording on what's plastered on all their products to the truth is all. It's just a little shady. I just picked up a really good customers item due to user error. Like I said I'm not a fortune 500 company and its different

That guy beat me to it but transferable warranty is a real thing and happens all the goddamn time which is not stupid. It's just good business. You must be used to shitty customer service

Free anything applies to the initial product or vehicle in question. Warranties sometimes can transfer but not in a situation like this.

Sorry but they did nothing wrong. Disclosure is clearly documented. Can't blame them because for whatever reason you did not see it.

Ok, ladies and gentlemen. No hard feelings. I simply purchased a cai/tuner combo from them for my old car a few years ago under the impression it was free tunes for life. I will post what I read. I didn't venture further into the fine print which I'm not even sure where it states that. I'm not worried about the money I just dropped 1800 bucks into a sound system for the car im not worried about 150 bucks. For the finale statement of the post... Just put what it really is on the products and not be shady. "Free tunes for life of the car" sure it will lose a little business but atleast you're honest at the end of the day.
