BAMACHIPS?

Has anyone gotten in touch with anybody over at bamachips? I realize they are moving and Matt broke his arm and blah blah blah, but surely someone has some sort of contact to see what is going on and when we can expect some sort of answers. I have called pm'ed and emailed to no avail so I am pretty much out of options.

I am sure you are on the list I ordered and back on the 23rd of June so I figure they are playing catch up

I've been in contact with them for the past 2 days trying to get a tune emailed to me. Just keep calling and you'll eventually get them

I've been going through the same thing with Tillman I've pm'ed emailed and called trying to get a quote on having gears installed. One quick pm to evolution performance and I had a quote within an hour. I know who has earned my business.

ive never had a problem with Brenspeed, tune revisions, big orders, returns and questions. Give em shot, tunes are great and so are the prices. Talk to "Seth"

Their tunes are more expensive + I already have my have my time and money invested with Bamachips. I'm sticking with them until my problem is resolved and if it's not to my satisfaction, then I'll switch.

Thought you guys should know, Bamachips will likely be doubling the price on their online tunes because they have to make a new every time and they can't just copy and paste. At least that is what he told me today.

That might be a good thing... If the tune is for your car and runs well, Im all for it... Ive had good times with BAMA and tried Brenspeed but BAMA works better for my car.

dougs a stand up guy. I would gladly wait a month for a tune from him then the $700 tunes from the crappy tuners in this area =-/

Doug is a champion for our cause and really tries hard for S197's. He is just busier than some for good reason. He's one of the best there is in my view.

True. It sometimes takes a week or so to get a tune from Doug to the UK. BUT, he ALWAYS answers and ALWAYS delivers a great tune depends how busy he is I spose.

I am sure in the end I will be very happy and i will report back when it's all settled. I am just frustrated with the lack if communication for whatever reason. I feel that I havebeen fairly patient and reasonable. And ultimatley if I thought I wasn't going to be happy I would have asked for them to cancel my order.

The last time I had a tuner get swamped like this and the customer service dropped like this they left me and all their other customers high and dry. This was a diesel tuner for my 6.0 however it has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am a little more sensitive because of it I guess.

That is what I am going to do,I heard these tune are better anyways. Who needs attitude from the new idiot they got at Bama.I have heard problems with Bama on all the forums,it all started when this guy Matt came into the picture. Doug is great and so is Caleb. Matt is a deush bag.

I tried to resolve your issue, you werent happy leave it at that.

As for the op, everythinv should be reaolved by tuesday, just alot of problems we have had moving to a new building with cable net. Satallite made itt very hard for us to work. Not an excuss.

I have not bashed you on every forum just 2,and only stated it as it was.

In business the customer is the boss. When you give false information and attitude,that is not good. DOH! The customer does not have to kiss your ass.

I would like to apologize for all of you who feel like were not there for you. Currently we are in a transition phaze to upgrade to a new building and hopefully find someone to replace caleb.

Its hard for me to keep up with all the PM's, emails, and calls. One person will send a PM, email, and call. Either me or doug will rectify the situation, but i dont know what has been taken care of and what hasnt.

If you have an issue that has not been taken care of, please let me know via email.

We are moving this weekend, hopefully monday will be a fresh start. Just sent this again below is the message that I emailed.

I sent this out on 06/28/09 and have yet to hear anything back. Just checking to see if you got this.
Hi Matt this is Nick Hilliard I sent you a PM on the S197 forums and I replied to Dougs email on the updated tune, I also sent out a PM on The mustang source forums. I really like the last Race tunethat was sent out, but I wanted to know if I can get one more tweak on the Race tune for when my wife drives it. Could it be named WifeRace and could you set it as follows

1st to 2nd at 15mph
2nd to 3rd at 25mph
3rd to 4th at 38mph
4th to 5th at 45mph

Doug replied and said that the car had to be on a dyno for thoose shift speeds to occur on the Race tune. I was confused because I noticed quite a few on the forums have had very similar shift schedules(thats were I got the idea?????) Can I atleast get the 4th to 5th gear changed to 45 mph on the most current race tune that I was sent. The car bounces from 4th to 5th at around 51 mph with the slighest touch of throttle or incline. It will not stay in 5th unless the road is completely flat.
