I didn't have to touch the clock spring on mine. I only had to swap out the 10 pin connector on the new wheel's wiring with the 5 pin connector on the old wheel's wiring. Cruise control is functioning fine.

I so wish I had this. The wiring thing scared me. If I was told exactly what the clockspring was I may take it, cuz I currently have no idea what any of that is as I have never removed a steering wheel. I want to black out the inside of my car by painting the silver parts on the dash and the steering wheel, would be awesome to have this though so I wouldn't have to paint the steering wheel.

What wiring harness would I need/how much would it cost. A link would be great. I'm in a 2006 gt mustang.

Thanks

Justin I honestly do not know the answer to this question, maybe someone else who has more knowledge of this can chime in. Thanks.
