bass speaker problems

I know this will be moved to tunes, but I couldn't find it so sorry in advance admins. I have a new stereo head unit for my 05 with the shaker 1000. The bass going to the lower door speakers is overwhelming and it causes them to rattle in the door. The stock unit doesn't have that problem so I think the radio is at fault. What tricks are there to get those speakers to chill out?

There was a TSB about speaker rattle. I’m sure it is in the archives here somewhere, but basically the door switches were vibrating under heavy bass to the speakers. The fix was to put padding on the switches.
