well, evo's held the record for some time, i know we have all been trying to take it.

so i'll be honest, it feels pretty good, especially with the level of competition out there, to be the one to do it.

There is always someone faster, it happens. Records are made to be broken. So what is the current record? The Hail Mary pass?

And I hope you have good health insurance because your beating the hell out of your back!

You know, i am biting my tongue for now out of the respect I have for Justin the owner of Justins Performance Center.

I consider him a friend, and I have a great admiration for him and his accomplishments.

I think you guys paint his shop in a crappy light when you guys come 2 and 3 fold to gang up on me, and what is a great accomplishment for me, and for the new 5.0 platform.

You won't see me crapping on any of JPC's accomplishments. I'll leave it at that for now. I'll let Justin decide where it goes from here.

I guess patting yourself on the back isn't allowed, unless you work at a big $$ facility that is.

It isn't like if they had went 8's, that it would be in there sig or anything, or they would have made posts about it. Surely not.

I'll say it again. I have TONS of respect for Justin. He is a great guy, a damn good racer, and has built a great business.

I have never crapped on his shop or his accomplishements. I've sent east coast business to the shop. He does a hell of a job and has earned the respect. As far as the guys posting on the forum on his behalf, that's a different story.

I'm a small gig right now. Me and Brian do what we can. I handle the parts aspect, Brian handles the install side. It works, and we work great together.

We all got Coyote blocks from Ford Racing at the same time. We all had the same amount of time to get our cars ready for FL.

I understand working on customers cars etc... It's not an excuse. Do you think we were grinding on my car at 2:00pm in the afternoon. Not a chance.

We are working on my car at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2+ am in the morning as to not take away from the shop customers. We busted our ass to get the car ready. Time away from my wife, my kids, and little to no sleep to get it done. So, forgive me if I take it personally.

They want to keep talking about me making excuses when I get beat by Justin. (If i get beat), when I'm the one sitting on the record. A pretty fukin impressive one I think. It's not the first this, first that, or anything anymore.

IT IS THE QUICKEST NEW 5.0 THERE IS. PERIOD!

Live with it.

You know what I would do if Justin beat me in a race. I would walk up, shake his hand and say "Great Job"! And then we would go have some beers.

I wouldn't be where I am today without Justin's help. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

So, maybe if his guys would get off the damn keyboard, get in the shop after hours, and give Justin a hand, maybe the car will make it to the next race and he can join in the fun. He can't do everything himself.

Yeah, my back is beat, from JPC guys following me around and riding it all the time.

I was always a fan of bbr. I spent time with Chris and John and they are cool enough guys. After that asshat Steve showed up though, I lost a lot of respect for the shops social presence. He really let his ego turn away a lot of business. I haven't been shopping for parts for a while, but I would still check out their site if I was. Congrats beefcake on your achievement, hopefully it is a long lived title.

I apologize for getting in on any smack talk. We were not trying to pile on and I'm sorry it may have felt that way. I by no means am trying to take away from the times you ran. Your car ran great congrats Again. These engines and cars are awesome for sure. The S197 & Mustang community for that fact is awesome. If I have offended anyone with my comments I also apologize this was not my intent, my intent was to boost up the upcoming match races.

ah this almost almost reminds me of the good ole days on modular depot when Mihovetz and Granatelli would go back and forth. Those were the days.

Good job Beefcake and i hope this bit of internet banter doesn't get out of control.
