Couldn't say. The sheetmetal stuff is based off man hours and parts. Casting is pretty cheap compared to. But w sheet metal you change runner length and taper along w plenum volume for ea combination. But not for 1400.

They are a pretty piece that's for sure...I considered that one...but had a hard time finding / justifying spending that much when I didn't see anything saying sheet metal was better than lets say a

that's a one off sheet metal intake, the 5.4L has no "stock" intake for the 4V set up AFAIK available from Ford.

nope...they are holding off on those must mean they are getting close to the new ones arriving.
I honestly have to say you guys are brutal and sometimes very harsh! I am surey not taking sides here. Yes that car that only went 9.80 on its first trip down the track. Driver is somewhat inexperienced at the track. Being real there is more in that car with fine tuning and driver experience!

So it only made one pass? Come on. Built engine, tt should ran well into the 9's. Beef/lund all have new engines and first pass on new setup had new beat. Lund even with issues.
BBR and there fan boys always have excuses of why they didn't run, didn't run as good, or seem to post only dyno vids of glory pulls but you never hear how someone else built the car, did the work, etc etc.
I will be there to watch these runs. I will post vids of winner either way.

Brutal with justification. BBR's reputation is well deserved based on the shenanigans they have pulled in the past. Could they turn it around? Absolutely but it is going to take an effort the equivalent of turning a battleship around in a gas station parking lot.

On beef/coffeeman/lunds cars they are always doing stuff. Trying new parts/boost/convertors/intakes/etc etc. Plus different power levels.
As said brand new setup. Terry went out and ran a 8.75@159 on first pass. Lu.d 9.0 and some changes coffeeman went 8.9. And more changes coming.
Hell coffeeman is adding power all time, changing something to get most out a production Ford engine. He went long time on just the stock engine.
