most of the power gain is from the tune, which you need to do anyway if you increase MAF area.

really, all intakes for the 3v and 5.0 are pretty damn close to the same. If you have a 105mm diameter MAF section like so many brands do you are basically good for about all the HP a N/A 3v, or even a 5.0 is gonna make.

lets say one intake makes 5hp more then the other on a 400hp motor.

(1-(400/405))100=1.2% difference. a small change in weather or a slight difference in tune can change the power much more then that.

lets say a 2hp difference on a 300hp motor
(1-(300/302))100= .7% difference.

you will find real world with these cars difference in name brand intakes is like +/- 5hp MAX

Just don't get an Ebay intake. and please use search next time this question has been getting asked since late 2004.

I think that's the latest model.

:roflmao: nice!

Imo just take notice of the ones that seal the filter from the engine bay. Also the 3v does not have a nice fresh air port right off the grille like the coyotes. Introduce nice fresh air into the filter location and keep it sealed from the engine bay and you will have good IAT's. Once you do that I don't think there is much of a difference between them. My :2cents:

I honestly thought I'd never see this question again.

There's no difference in CAI's. Just get the one you think is most pretty.

This guy again? the FRPP one or 08-08 bullitt one isn't bad. Most of the power is in the tune anyhow.
