Nope, Unfortunately I'm back in the furnace of the desert. We were entertaining either spending the rest of the weekend in San-Dog or going up to Orange County to visit some other in-laws, but Madonna got sick the last day of the cruise, so we high-tailed it back to Phoenix yesterday.

The cruise... was definitely cool, we enjoyed ourselves, relaxed. I forgot how much I enjoyed being out at sea.

Cabo San Lucas -- Overall, not that impressed. It had more to do with the fact that Cabo is about to EXPLODE as a tourist destination, so much stuff under construction you almost feel like you're in a war zone. Had lunch at Cabo Wabo -- excellent food! then a much too long walk to the beach, where we just kept cool in the ocean the rest of the afternoon before heading back.

Ensenada -- I actually liked this better than Cabo. We went to the Ensenada "Blowhole", through the shopping gauntlet where I of course had fun fuckin with the shopkeepers :) We saw some cool places where we could come back to and rent out a house for cheap right on the water. :thumb:

We had a great time seeing you guys too, as usual! Ed's "World Famous Shrimp" was off the hook, thanks again Ed :thumb:

We'll see you again on the 24th of October. We'll probably stop in the night before :)
And we'll bring our "deluxe" air mattress for Devin.... :roflmao:

That's a bummer about Madonna getting sick; but I'm glad to hear you both had a good time!

On Monday, we started off with the delivery of two more large boulders. The masons added the grout to the stone on the BBQ and fire pit. And over the weekend, the tile inside was finished.

Tito “The Claw” was back, and Donna did her part.

The carpet installer was back on Tuesday, but didn’t quite finish. Hopefully they will be back tomorrow. In the back, the masons added the grout to the Three Rivers stone cap on the seat wall, and added some detail to the waterfall in the form of smaller stones and rocks. The also poured the concrete base for the stone floor in front of the BBQ.

Countdown to Move In: 22 days

This area will also be Black Mountain stone.
