Bogarts: Polished or Black?

I got a set of Bogarts from a fellow member (most will know who) and the rears need to be repolished.

I am considering just having all 4 powdercoated black. Looking for opinions and hopefully a photoshop guru to show me them in black.

Personal opinion is keep the ones you have on it currently..

However if you are set on changing them its gotta be black...

I definately vote black. I am wanting Racestars powdercoated black. Unsure of the cost of such a project, anyone have any ideas on that? It's far enough away for me I haven't called anyone on it yet.

DONT POWDERCOAT THEM, YOU WILL RUIN THE RIMS> Powdercoating them involves heating (baking) them, it will ruin the metal. Call Rich at Bogart he will explain it.


They were Painted, hence the last little pits of paint simply need to be removed and the alumnimum polished, I think they would look good Black on the car though. I should have left them alone and had the fronts paints black to match. My bad.

Thanks, I have very little knowledge on the powdercoating process. I thought maybe that was the process needed to keep the durability on wheels that didn't come from the manufacturer painted. Is there something besides just paint to keep a high gloss on the wheels? I have black shelby wheels right now and do a lot of shows. I would hate to lose the quality appearance.
