I read that article last night, not sure if that's cool or makes me sick how fast they are right out of the box especially vs the 1st gen coyote! I remember when I got my 2013 and it got a 8 horsepower bump from the 11-12s lol

How do you think us 3V'ers feel? :(
Put a 11+ 3.7 V6 stang next to a 05-10 V8 stang for an eye opener. Or a tweaked up eco boost.
The oem 05-10 GT is a slug. It requires...'help'. If one were starting today, from scratch, the 05-10 cars would not be on my short list. A used 11+ would be the ticket.

They tried that, the 3v pulled ahead and stayed there. Gear up the 3v to make it equal gearing wise and the gap widened.
Sure, there wer 1 or 2 "shop" v6's that got to low 13's or high 12's wil bolt-ons but when the same exercise was done in 2005 with the major shops and the 3v, low 12's were the norm.

I had a 3V before I got my Coyote, and my wife currently has a 2014 Vert with the 3.7 V6. I'd take a 3V over the 3,7 anyday, if for no other reason than the sound. And don't get me started on a hopped up EcoBoost.

I am hanging onto my current car for one more year, in the hopes that late next year, I'll be able to snag a good deal on a new, year end 2018 GT Premium w/ the 10 speed auto. And hopefully Ford will still offer 0% for 72 months.
