I saw a controller in game informer that could swap where the D-pad and joystick went. They also have replacement joysticks if they wear out. They had it for both xbox and playstation. That's all I remember.
Hmm, interesting. I couldn't find it by searching. Let me know if you have a link.

If the Xbox controller could be used on the PS3, I'd definitely play it more. One can dream... right?

So does the PS3 one look like the one in the review? Towards the end, they say that there are two different kinds (because of licensing concerns).

**EDIT**
Yes, it does. Just found it on Amazon. Might really consider getting this... it's damn pricey, though:

We're getting frustrated with the leveling. On BL1, we were able to build several characters... each getting up to L50 without any issues. With BL2, my wife and I have been stuck at 36, 37, and finally 38 for weeks now. We've beaten the game, but still haven't beaten whoever-the-invincible and the giant-squid-fuckface (not to mention the bar brawls with the level 50 assholes in them).

We need to get more levels to beat these bastards, but everyone we kill seems to only give 1-2 exp pts each. Not sure what is the best way to get larger exp kills... minus the bosses that we can't beat yet.

If you beat the game you can go into true vault hunter mode and the enemies will level up with you meaning more XP or you can use the game glitches and level up.

Don't know about game glitches (not looking to cheat either), but the vault hunter mode makes sense. We've stayed in the first play through because we wanted to finished the last few missions.

Will those still be available if we switch to the 2nd playthrough?

When you go into Vault Hunter Mode it starts you over. So previous missions that weren't completed minus the add-on packs like Oasis won't be there.

Not sure I understand.... would we need to reinstall the add-ons? We just installed the Big Game add-on last night.

So if there are missions we still want to finish, we need to do them before we switch to the 2nd playthrough? Pretty lame... as we can finish the last few missions without higher levels, and it sounds like we can't get higher levels without starting the 2nd playthrough.

I don't remember this being an issue with BL1....

Ok, that's good. The only non-DLC mission we haven't completed is "you.will.die". Can't even come close to beating that fucker at level 38. Same with the "invincible" guy (brainfarting their names).

Terra and Vermi were designed to fight with a group of 4 lvl 50 players.

Once you get to LVL 50 you can kill terramorphous easily by yourself.... I can take him down in 30 secs usually solo. The Bee Shield and the CC are you best friends. I can take down Pyro Pete "The Invincible" solo as well. Just takes practice.

I'm stuck on COD: Black Ops Online Play now. Barely play borderlands.

After the bee nerf and shotgun nerf / glitch Terra isnt that easy anymore. doable, but a bit tougher.

Have not been on the game in a few weeks either.

well i would be playing the new delc except...

bought a new xbox 360 (slim) 250gb because i had a 20gb previously and thats not nearly enough room these days. i used the transfer cable and everything goes over fine. go to log into my account and it no longer works..

so after an hour with xbox i reset my password.... and still i cant get into my account

call the next day another hour on the phone... appearently it's going to take 13 fucking days since monday to get back into my mother fucking account. i'm fucking furious, spend almost 300$ and i cant play my fucking shit, not to mention my half month of xbox live down the shitter.

Bah... I still want to finish everything in the first playthrough first. I think we'll just keep plugging away.

Besides starting VHM, what is the best way to get experience (1st playthrough)?

Everything caps at 33-35, so nothing. You realize, you can start TVHM and still go back to the first playthrough and all quests in PT1 will still be there.

i honestly would invest as little time as possible in the first time playthrough, vault hunter mode is where all the lvl 50 epic weapons and loot is at. not to mention the experience is i think better then the first play through. and you're gonna want to complete all the missions in tvh as once again the loot is a million times better.

Ok, I'm convinced. We'll start VHM tonight.

Just saw this, BTW... Level cap increase coming up!
