Bosch is garbage ! Long rant to follow

I was fondling the idea of selling the bosch's and buying the Id's after speaking with a rep. I was going with them to begin with and was talked out of it. My screw up I guess from the get go, but I guess as long as the car runs right I will be in a happy place finally. And towards your assumption, no I'm not going to dump anything in Bobby's lap, as I've led to before, he's not deserving of that and I'm not that kind of an asshole. I'm a short fused,no time for bullshit kind of asshole. that's why the warning in the title, this was a rant. also, my entire fuel system is new except for the pumps and they never came out of the tank and was all installed in a very clean enviroment, injectors went straight out of the packaging into rails, onto engine so I

No, not at all but the OP's original post was about Bosch being junk...which is not true, this hopefully was a just an unfortunate situation that nothing could have been done to avoid it.

And the OP did not bash S&H, I think he said Bobby did everything he could do.

my main frustration came from running a new cylinder and new stainless ring "dry" which as I stated was just a compound of many other unfortunate delays for many different reasons. In retrospect, , prolly shoulda went and beat a punching bag down cuz the end result woulda been the same. and you are right greg, bosch more than likely is a great product, just wish my case was approached differently from the dealers standpoint when a highly decorated tuner laid his stamp on it. I had the same exact situation with oliver rods concerning mis'machined rod bushings, they wanted me to send them back for inspection before replacing them but once they talked to the machinist doing my work and he gave the dimensions, their response was ," yeah we screwed up " and I had rod bushings in 2 days shipped from michigan. I just don't have patience for this kind of shit when having a professional shop claiming the findings and the company acting like mmr. and make no mistake, if they give bobby shit over this injector for whatever reason, I told him I was going to buy the injector they shipped and just suck it up.

just an update, I got stuck with buying 9 injectors to keep from having a refurbished one. Bobby talked me out of buying the ID's from the get go when my mind was made up and assured me I would have no issues. they claimed dirt was clogging a 1000cc brand new injector, NOT DEBRIS ,,, dirt. my whole fuel system is new save for the pumps and rails which were cleaned and bagged, the tank was drained 6 months ago and the system was bled before hooking to fuel rails. just so you paople know, as Nice a guy as he is, Bobby is going to protect his wallet and his vendor. Customer service don't mean shit if he has to come out of pocket to cover what he sells. He sold me on these injectors and I wound up getting fucked. 75 bucks isn't shit, I will pay it when it shows up but the principle of the matter is what's steering this.

edit: I'm sorry, it is 95 dollars I'm going to pay because there was a 20 dollar cleaning fee to pay from his mysterious vendor that he offered to cover but I'm not willing to accept his half ass service so I will be sending all of it when this injector arrives. I bought the rights to this god damn story so I'm publishing it as so.

ain't much valid he can say other than blah blah amount of people are satisfied, and offer excuses and theories. I wouldn't be this pissed had he not went above and beyond to stop me from buying the ID's and purchase these off him and pretty much all but guaranteed I would have NO ISSUES and then hose me in the end. I'm done with this, I just wanted to bring it to light for any future prospect, if you want ID's go get ID's, they are the same bodied injector that go thru different processes and come with a much better customer service after speaking with nick at ID, I would never have been put in this position.

So when you bought a complete set of injectors brand new and instead of one being replaced they wanted to charge you for flow testing all of them and then give you a refurbished injector instead of a brand new one like you ordered. Wow that is some bull right there. That leads me to believe that they probably refurb alot of them and sell them as brand new.

no i sent the dead one back, kept the other 7 as they worked and the options were refurbing that particular injector where as I didn't pay for used or refurbed injectors, i wanted a brand goddam new one thats why i paid his price and that was the only option short of paying for a 9th one which is what bobby did. his vendor charges him for it, and a 20 dollar cleaning fee and now to sdatisfy the transaction, I must pay for the 75 dollar injector and he offered to pay the cleaning fee. I however am paying the 95 dollar total so he has no cost to incur in this deal. cause if im paying for 9 injectors then whats another 20 bucks right? I just wont do business here ever again because he doesn't stand behind what he sells based on this transaction

I am still confused as to what your issue is; by what you posted you received the one injector you needed to complete the 8, you installed it and based on your post #26 your car was running well and you were happy...so what happened since then to piss you off?
