So my car has the Baer rear rotor upgrade ( stock calipers) any way the top bolt the holds the caliper to the bracket decided to " dissapear" ?? don't ask how I'm not sure. I went to my local ford dealer and got new bolts, they are about 1/2 inch shorter than the bolt that is still there{ because of the bracket that extend's the stock caliper out} , you guys think maybe putting some locktight and the shorter bolt would be ok, or should I try and get the same length bolt ?????? thanks for all & any thoughts.

You might be able to put the shorter bolt on but, i am the type to not risk it. Why not just go back to ford and the job right the first time instead having to jack it up again. I always hate to jack up my car again when i thought i was done. As for the loctite I never heard of anyone putting it on for there. I would just make sure you dont put a very strong one on there just in case the shorter bolt doesn't come out and you need to replace it with a longer bolt. (if you went that route)

Let us know how it goes!

I have the same setup on the rear. The longer bolt came with loctite on them from baer iirc. No problems with mine. The shorter bolt with loctite should work as long as you get a decent amount of threads, or get a bolt with the same size/pitch and just find a longer one. Take the other one to a hardware store to match up or look online.
