Ok I know this is proabbly not the right forum but we are all roadracers and someone may have already done this. I picked my brembos up from the powder coating today and they have split the halves. Can I just put them back together? If so does anyone know what the torque value is on the 4 bolts? Or am I just FUBAR? :omfg:

Get the tech from Brembo. You should NOT be FUBAR, but make sure the powdercoat isn't on the mating surfaces, piston bores, or any of the hydraulic passages. Any further word on the chassis?????

Nope no o-rings or any provisions for them.

Really? I was super scared to spilt mine for power coating now not at all. So as long as the matting surface is flat there is no problem splitting them and putting them back together?

No O-rings between the two body halves on that caliper. Your transfer tube carries all the fluid. Clean it and bolt it back together.

Amy at Miller Motorsport Park to the rescue!!!! Caliper Bolts are torqued to 65FT LBS. Even Brembo North America couldnt tell me. They said they would have to call overseas and it would be the end of the week. Amy had me an answer in 3 min! God i love that woman!! :allhail:

Not sure on the Torx socket yet. I know a 11MM socket fits but not sure about the Torx yet. I will take one of the bolts to work tomorrow and find out
