Hello everyone. Installed a new parking brake handle in my 2005 GT and broke the adjuster nut off in the process. Seemed to happen way too easily. Anyway, a got the nut back on 3 or 4 threads, I also added Gorilla cement. The ebrake holds for now, but how about long term. Or should I just replace it to be super safe?

Parking brake also known as emergency brake (ebrake). I personally would not rig or use tape, glue etc. on anything emergency or safety related. For a quick fix I understand, but not as a longer-term solution.

As already stated... REPLACE IT!

Replacement ordered, will be here Thursday. Just seemed odd that when backing off the adjustment nut it snapped off way too easy.
