Broken dip stick tube

Broke dip stick tube when trying to remove for header install any ideas on how to remove piece stuck in block.

Once you remove the exhaust manifold it should be obvious. Hopefully you have enough sticking out of the block to grab with pliers and pull it out.

Broke off flush already tried easy out no luck will try tapping hole and inserting bolt and pull on bult

Man that sucks. Mine was a bitch to get out but not that bad, I just mangled the end pulling it out with vise grips and had to order a replacement tube.

I guess that original O-ring ends up hard as a rock and makes it really tough to get the tube out. If the bolt trick doesn't work any chance you can crush one side in a bit to give it a little leeway?

Got it out by threading bolt in and pulling on bolt

did you have to tap it? hope no shavings got into oil, but guess you could just drain and get most/all out
